About XCarspace

XCarspace is an independent automotive information site for U.S. car shoppers and enthusiasts. We publish buyer guides, vehicle comparisons, ownership-cost analysis, EV and hybrid explainers, and coverage of upcoming models.

Our job is not to make every new vehicle sound exciting. It is to help readers understand what is confirmed, what is still uncertain, what a vehicle may cost to own, and which tradeoffs matter for a real purchase.

How we work

  • Primary sources first. For specifications, prices, recalls, safety data, fuel economy, range, incentives, and regulations, we prefer automaker documents and government sources such as EPA, DOE, IRS, NHTSA, and EIA.
  • Clear status labels. Future-model information is identified as confirmed, announced, estimated, expected, rumored, or not yet announced.
  • Reproducible analysis. Cost examples state their inputs, units, time period, location assumptions, and exclusions.
  • Buyer-centered judgment. We explain who a recommendation fits, when it does not fit, and which condition could reverse the answer.
  • Corrections matter. Readers can report factual errors, broken links, or image-rights concerns through our contact page.

What XCarspace does not claim

Unless an article explicitly says otherwise, XCarspace has not personally road-tested the vehicle discussed. We do not invent first-hand experience, quotes, specifications, prices, launch dates, or owner testimonials. Manufacturer estimates are not presented as EPA ratings, and forecasts are not presented as confirmed facts.

Editorial independence

Editorial conclusions are based on available evidence and our analysis. Advertising, affiliate relationships, or supplied materials do not purchase a favorable conclusion. Any material commercial relationship should be disclosed where it can affect a reader’s interpretation.

Who publishes the site

Articles are published by the XCarspace Editorial Team. We use a team byline because the current site does not yet maintain verified individual contributor profiles. We will not assign invented names, biographies, or credentials.
